WPCodeBox Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the WPCodeBox plugin (“Plugin”), including any associated services such as the WPCodeBox Cloud (“Cloud”) and any other services provided by WPCodeBox (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Plugin or Cloud, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Plugin or Cloud.

1. License

The PHP code of the WPCodeBox plugin is released under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPL v3). You are free to use, modify, and distribute the Plugin’s PHP code in accordance with the terms of the GPL v3 license.

2. WPCodeBox Cloud Usage

The WPCodeBox Cloud provides storage and syncing services to enhance your experience with the Plugin. By using the Cloud, you agree to the following:

• Fair Use Policy: While we offer “unlimited” storage, this means unlimited storage under normal use. We define “normal use” as usage that aligns with the typical needs of WordPress developers and agencies. Abuse of the Cloud will result in limitations, suspension, or termination of your access to the Cloud.
• Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use the Cloud for any illegal activities, including but not limited to distributing illegal content, performing illegal transactions, or engaging in any activities that violate applicable laws and regulations.
• No Abuse: You may not use the Cloud in a way that disrupts, damages, or otherwise interferes with the Cloud’s operations or other users’ ability to use the Cloud. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, overloading the system, misuse of API keys, or attempting to bypass any limitations or restrictions we impose.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Cloud account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Plugin or Cloud at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Plugin or Cloud.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Plugin and Cloud are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Plugin or Cloud will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event will WPCodeBox, its affiliates, or its licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Plugin or Cloud, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Modifications to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website or within the Plugin. Your continued use of the Plugin or Cloud after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
