Ovidiu Maghetiu is a WordPress developer with more than 20 years of web development experience. He started programming at age seven and has worked across BASIC, C, C++, Java, PHP, and WordPress. He’s the founder of WPCodeBox. Before and alongside WPCodeBox, he worked on projects including WP-client.com, WPide.net, and WP All Export Pro, where he has served as lead developer.
His work centers on building developer-first tools that reduce friction inside WordPress: better code editing, safer snippet management, reusable workflows, and cloud-connected tooling for teams and agencies. He also enjoys React, single-page applications, and distributed systems, and writes about practical ways to customize WordPress with less bloat and more control.
